Is there is a better career option in multimedia and animation field...which courses concerned are preferable...what's the starting salary of a new animator...is there any growth in its job?

I'm a student of Amity University Uttar Pradesh doing B.Tech final year which is approved by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh under section 2f of the UGC act. Am I eligible to appear for GATE exam next year? Please send me the complete details regarding GATE. Whether the students of Amity University are elgibile for GATE entrance exam?

I am 27 yrs old and currently working as a Team Leader in a leading Callcenter (techinical) having total experience of nearly 4.5 yrs. I have already taken up MBA(Finance) and planning to take up ICWA this year, so that I can then switch to finance after its completion (which will be in the year 2010 approx).

I am facing the dilemma of switching from Callcenter to finance industry. Should I wait for completion of both ICWA & MBA(Fin) and then move into finance or start right now. If I need to start off right now, how do I do it ? I can take a hit of max 15 % on my current salary viz 35,000. Also would like to know if BPO(financial) exp. would be held good in such cases. Please help me, I am totally confused.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am a student of B.Tech. Computer Science final year. I wish to plan my future with your valuable advice. I have been placed in a reputed Indian MNC but I'm unsure whether I should join the job, go for higher studies , or wait for sometime before pursuing higher studies. I'm also unsure whether I should go in for a career change. My technical knowledge is average and my areas of interest are Mathematics, Languages and Literature (I had thought of Journalism as a career option once but went for a B.Tech instead), Computer Security and Human Resources. I am looking for a career option that gives me job satisfaction, an opportunity to contribute actively in Society and help people. I'm really in a dilemma. Please advice me.
