Answer: Visual merchandising is creating visual displays and arranging merchandise assortments within a store to improve the layout and presentation and to increase traffic and sales. There are some of the premier institutes that offer courses in Retail Visual Merchandising and the eligibility is after 10+2 with any stream but with an aptitude for creativity and an aesthetic sense. Some of them are:
  • National Institute of Fashion Technology(NIFT)
  • National Institute of Design(NID, Paldi)
  • Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad(MICA)
