| Question: Hello, I completed my degree in Industrial engineering and Production and have been a marketing executive for the past 8 years. I would like to further improve my qualifications and get a masters degree. I would like to know what is the best field for me and the best course I can do at this stage. Thank you. |

| Answer: Since you are into a job, you can add an added qualification to your resume by doing your masters through some distance education mode. Post graduate degree courses in Engineering are offered at a number of distance learning institutes in India and abroad. Students can now do their M tech courses in various engineering disciplines through the mode of distance learning. Distance learning M tech provides the opportunity for students and working professionals to get a masters degree without having to attend classes.
In order to be eligible for the Distance learning M tech Courses, students must have a B.tech degree in Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics, Chemical Engineering or an allied field of study. Candidates are required to have a B.tech degree from a reputed institute and should pass with a cutoff percentage as prescribed by the concerned university. You can also opt for Executive MBA or MBA through distance education mode if you have an interest in managerial jobs.
