| Question: I'm doing M.Sc.(medical physiology) from Manipal University. Am I eligible for GATE(life sciences) and if I eligible then after entrance there will be any Interview or GD. | ||
| Answer: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering(GATE) is an All-India Examination conducted by the 7 IIT's and IISc, Bangalore on behalf of the MHRD. You are eligible for the GATE exam for Life Sciences. The subjects you need to focus on are Chemistry (compulsory) and any two out of Biochemistry, Botany, Biotechnology, Zoology and Microbiology. It is an objective test with negative marking. There is no interview or GD because they make you eligible for PG/Doctoral programmes.
