| Answer: Just like computers, management is also extended to every aspect of our lives. Academy of Maritime Education and Training has launched a new MBA programme in collaboration with Tamil Nadu Open University based in Chennai, India. The MBA course with Specialization in Shipping Logistics Management is delivered through distance learning / E-learning mode. Since not many management institutes give specialization in Shipping and Logistics, typically the companies hire a general MBA and train them on their own processes. One can get managerial positions in Shipping Companies, in Agency Houses, Clearing and Forwarding (C&F) Firms, Export/Import Houses, large manufacturing and trading concerns, related Government departments. It would be advisable to be focused in what you are doing presently.
