Question: Is there is a better career option in multimedia and animation field...which courses concerned are preferable...what's the starting salary of a new animator...is there any growth in its job?
 
Answer: Multimedia stands for the technology which combines Video, Sound, Text, Graphics, Illustrations, Photographs and Animation in one single package. Most professions use multimedia application packages today which gives it more market value. From Fashion Designers to hair stylists everyone uses the expertise of animators. After 10+2 you can go for an undergraduate degree or a Diploma course and follow through the Master's. The premier institutes for animation are:

  • National Institute of Design(NID),Paldi
  • IIT,Guwahati
  • Film and Television Institute of India(FTII, Pune)
  • Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics(MAAC)
  • Zee institute of Creative Arts(ZICA)among a few others.
