Copy editors needs to start the editing process by fixing any grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors. They also double check that names, places and organizations are spelled properly and that facts, dates and statistics are accurate.
checking text to ensure it is well written, logically structured and in the right style for the intended audience
ensuring the text is in line with the publisher's 'house style' - for example, that hyphens, capital letters and optional spellings are used consistently
checking illustrations and captions are correct.
Copy editor is responsible for maintaining client style guides. The copy editor consults the appropriate style guide and makes changes to the copy based on a client's guidelines.
Copy editors must be familiar with a style books, such as the Modern Language Association or Chicago Manual of Styles.

• Able to handle the quality standard and submit work on time.
The difficulty levels range from simple (single element photos) to complex (technical diagrams with multiple parts). Subject domains will include English, Psychology, Social Sciences, Physical sciences, and Life Sciences.
