Azim Premji Foundation has a clear social purpose-to facilitate a just, equitable, humane and sustainable society. After having worked towards improving the quality of school education in collaboration with several state Governments for over ten years, the Foundation will now expand its reach and intensity across India.

This will be done through multiple initiatives, including the establishment of Azim Premji University (a talent pool of change leaders who will make real difference to society and create relevant, useful knowledge), the opening of Demonstration Schools in multiple districts, the establishment of Institutes at State and District levels (to proactively engage at the field level, including capacity building of existing practitioners and educational institutions) and by creating a demand for quality education by setting up an Institute for Assessment and Accreditation for schools and other institutions.

We invite qualified and competent individuals, who are passionate about creating social change through education, to join us on this exciting journey. We have roles for:

Teachers: School teachers and educators with prior experience in teaching languages, mathematics, sciences, social sciences, sports and art.

Teacher Educators: Teacher developers and facilitators with expertise in developing teachers in subjects, pedagogy and social orientation.

School Administrators: Firsthand experience in setting up and/ or professionally leading existing schools e.g. Head Teachers, Principals

Development Workers: Deep field level experience in child/ mother health, nutrition, sanitation, livelihoods, governance & environmental issues.

Program Facilitators: Manage various district/ state level programs by working with the local government, community & other stakeholders

Researchers: Skills in conducting field research in the education and development domains and conversant with research methodologies

Specialized Functions: Experts in curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, inclusive education, statisticians, psychomericians, education technology & communications.

Support Functions: Library, Activity Centres, Human Resources, Accounts, General Admin and IT

Those roles will be based in the institutions mentioned above i.e. the State and District Institutes, the Demonstration Schools & the Institute for Assessment and Accreditation.

In the first phase, these positions will be located at:

• Karnataka (Bengaluru & Yadgir)
• Uttarakhand (Dehradun, Uttarkashi & Udhamsinghnagar)
