Nutrition Specialist
The incumbent will be responsible for facilitating and influencing the State Government's policy, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, for the Child Development and Nutrition programme within one State in India. S/he will under the daily supervision of the Programme Manager, Bhopal and will work at the both State and District level. S/he will also take sector specific guidance from the Child Development and Nutrition section (Technical Centre of Excellence) in Delhi.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience: Advanced university degree in one of the disciplines relevant to the following areas: Public Health & Nutrition, Health Sciences, International Health & Nutrition, Family Health & Nutrition, Nutritional Epidemiology, Health & Nutrition Education, Health & Nutrition Promotion and Disease Prevention, Public Health, Health Emergency Preparedness, or other relevant discipline(s). Five years of progressively responsible professional work experience in social development - preferably in child development and nutrition at state level, project administration, monitoring and evaluation.
