Invites applications for the post of Project Co-Ordinator at Bangalore for its Sindhuvani Project (Counseling Centres for women in distress). Candidates who fulfill the following criteria are required to send applications to plain paper to the below address within seven days from the date of this advertisement, addressed to the State Programme Director.

Qualification Required: Graduate in law from a recognized university with 3-5 years experience in gender related issues or postgraduate in psychology/ sociology/ women's studies with 5 years experience in project related to women's rights/ legal issues. Counseling skills will be an added advantage. Trained counselors with relevant project experience are also encouraged to apply.

Managerial skills including financial management, handling legal issues, problem solving, negotiation and communication skills, high level of commitment to rural women's issues, sound understanding of women's problems and women's rights are essential. Willingness to travel frequently through out Karnataka.

Ability to read, write and speak Kannada and English. Ability to lead a large team of counsellors and social workers located in different district based centres.

Honoraria: Rs. 10,000/- per month.
