Applications are invited for the post of Staff Nurse:

B.Sc. Nursing or Equipment plus 2 years experience or Pre-Degree certificate + Diploma in Nursing of 3 years duration + 3 years experience in either SCBU, Midwifery, Psychiatry

Salary: Starting from R.O. 275 per month +12.5% professional allowances per month with increments as decided by the interview team.

Only those how are activity practicing in hospitals need apply and not private duly nurses.

Applicants must possess either of the speciality experience: SCBU Midwifery, Psychiatry. Preference will be given to candidates with CPRR/IV Therapy & Drug competency certificates/ post basis education of the said speciality. Only competency certificates having 3 years or more of specialty experience need apply.

Interviews will be held in India for which date and venue will be communicated in the call letter. Applications should reach us latest by 30th June, 2010 and those applications received after this date will not be entertained.

Benefits include free furnished (hard furnishings only) air-conditioned accommodation on single contract basis, 36 days paid leave a year, economy class air ticket (on initial appointment and on final exit), 75 percent of the cost of air ticket for annual leave travel once during the contractual year. Allowances will be given for transport, water and electricity, when these are not provided free by the Ministry, There is no income tax levied in Oman at the moment. Medical treatment within the Sultanate is free as per existing rules. Contracts are for one year, which are renewable annually, if agreeable to both parties.
