I have done my B.E Mechanical. I would like to know the duration of the M.Tech course (Mechanical) Does the government provide sponsorship for students pursuing M.Tech.? |

| Answer: For entry into postgraduate courses one has to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and the scholarship/assistantship is available only for those who qualify in the GATE.
The duration of an M.Tech. programme ranges from 2-3 years spread over 3-4 semesters which varies from course to course.
