Subject: Career options after b.el.ed.

Question: I am currently doing b.el.ed. with maths as my optional subject. can i do masters in maths after that and apply for net exam and go for lecturer-ship in diet and b.ed. colleges. Is it true that b.el.ed. graduates are denied promotion to pgt level even after doing masters ?
 
Answer:

Yes you completed your masters after that you appear for NET exam.. The test organized for state level is named as STET or State Teacher Eligibility Test. The one for national level is named as NET or National Eligibility Test. After clearing the test one can join in any Government/Private School and College.

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without grace or rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test. Junior Research Fellowship the age limit is not more then 28 years.
