Mechanical Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Working on R&D of new projects.
  • Perform a full life cycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement).
  • Design systems and components that meet the needs and requirements. Design products using CAD, and consult with engineering and manufacturing teammates to ensure that designs are feasible.
  • Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems. Develop and build prototypes and run tests to measure their level of function.
  • Designing and implementing systems to improve efficiency and sustainability.
  • Record and evaluate testing data, altering designs as necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standards.
  • Alter and modify the design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions.
  • Consult with fabrication teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest product building regulation.
  • Travel to-fro for manufacturing units and procurement at local areas whenever needed.

Skills Required:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Special Machine design.
  • Should have excellent skills with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (Autodesk Inventor or equivalent). Strong ability to prepare 3D CAD Models of Part & Assembly.
  • Good experience in Mechanisms like Chain and Sprocket, Belt drive, Conveyor system, Gears, Lead Screw, Rack and Pinion., etc.
  • Good Knowledge of rapid prototyping methods and Manufacturing Methods.
  • Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, electronics.
  • Good Knowledge on Motors like Servo Motors, Stepper Motors, BLDC.
  • Extraordinary creative and analytical skills

  • Able to work in a team environment
