Testing Engineer (Manual Testing)

Client: IT Infrastructure Company in New Delhi

Job brief of QA Tester
We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and testing. candidate will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. Candidate is also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality

Ultimately, candidate will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.

Responsibilities

1. Review and analyse system specifications

2. Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans

3. Execute test cases (manual) and analyse results

4. Evaluate product code according to specifications

5. Create logs to document testing phases and defects

6. Report bugs and errors to development team

7. Help troubleshoot issues

8. Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

9. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role

2. Experience in QA methodology

3. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus

4. Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

5. Basic knowledge of test tools (e.g. JMeter, Junit or YSlow) and SQL

6. Excellent communication skills

7. Attention to detail

8. Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

9. Strong organizational skills

10. Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
