Position - CE VE Engineer Mechanical

Qualification: Mechanical BE Mtech

Must have competencies

• At least 4+ years of experience in the Component Engineering and Value Engineering.
• Expertise in Creo, Auto CAD, Adobe illustrator. To create Solid, surface and 2D drafting (BOM)
• Experience in Mechanical design like NPD will be added advantage.
• Experience in selection of materials Plastics and metallic for product requirements.
• Have understanding on Different Manufacturing Processes like Plastic Injection Molding, Metal Parts Machining, Casting, sheet metal process, joining methods etc.
• Ability to suggest alternate materials (plastics Metallic) to evolve cost savings ideas.
• Essential deep knowledge of Mechanical design and components, their parameters and characteristics, their manufacturing methods, material specs, GD&T, DFMA, experience with conditional qualification testing.
• Understanding ULCSACE standards, statistical methods and tools, MS Office
• Ability to create Test plan for component and product level testing

• Preference
  Certification in VAVE is added advantage.
  Experience Testing will be an added advantage.
  Experience in SAP ERP and PDM module is added advantage.
  Exposure to Six Sigma methodology statistical methods.

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  Excellent problem analysis, judgment and technical decision making skills.
  Excellent implementation skills like Planning, Estimation, Execution and Quality check.
