This enables the financial institutions to provide efficient treasury operations, collateral management, risk management, compliance to regulatory standards and optimum use of regulatory capital.

The Adaptiv Professional services is a result oriented, client focused, dynamic team. We undertake New Implementation, Product Customization and Product Upgrade services for the clients to optimize the use of Adaptiv products for the bank s business for their ever-growing business.

The Adaptiv Credit and Market Risk Engines and Enterprise Risk infrastructure offers rich functionality around valuations of exotic derivatives, market risk ( VAR, Expected Shortfall, Sensitivities ), Credit risk (PFE, credit exposures ), XVAs and provides regulatory calculations for standards such as SACCR, FRTB, SIMM.

What you will be doing

The Adaptiv Senior Consultant (Functional) will work independently and within a team environment to provide professional services to FIS customers using the Adaptiv software solution including, but not limited to: project implementation services, solution configuration, solution customization and product training. The Senior Functional Consultant makes required assessments and adherent decisions to protect and defend FIS' interests within the given framework of a mandate.

  • Works individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements
  • Lead and will participate in the conduct of business requirement studies and other project related activities
  • Configures Adaptiv to meet Client s requirements (including, but not limited to: products, pricing, risk calculations, workflows, functionality, model configuration)
  • Performs calibration of pricing models and provides validation support for risk results (e.g. VaR, SIMM) in Adaptiv.
  • Creates functional specifications for customisation or core software enhancements; business process and product requirements definition
  • May liaise with Product Management to communicate Client requirements and expectations and get those implemented.
  • Conducts unit and systems tests; supports System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and/or mock rehearsals activities of clients
  • Provides continual feedback to the project manager promptly highlighting any potential issues to allow a proactive solution to be offered
  • Creates project documentation and deliverables
  • Provides training on Adaptiv to clients as well as colleagues
  • May act as team leader for functional aspects of consulting projects. Mentor, guide, advise and/or check work of less experienced business systems analysts and technology business consultants
  • Contributes to the constant improvement of his/her domain through innovation and development of tools.
  • Actively participates as a pre-sales resource in the pre-project phases at customers and prospects as a representative of the Professional Services organization.
  • Proactively uncovers and qualifies new business opportunities with customers.

What you bring:

Knowledge / Experience

  • 10+ years experience implementing market and credit risk solutions for investment banks, with a risk product vendor.
  • Experience implementing risk regulations such as SIMM, FRTB, SACCR. Understanding of the data requirements and calculations.
  • Advanced knowledge of various financial instruments including exotic and structured products, their valuation models, model calibration and the related mathematical theory.
  • Experience in functional aspects of enterprise financial software package configuration, customisation, integration and/or implementation projects
  • Demonstrated experience in the analysis of systems and data to identify and understand new requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with functional aspects of Order Management, Asset Management, Treasury and/or Enterprise Risk Management systems


  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Certification in Risk Management PRM/CFA/FRM or equivalent in related field
  • Excellent hands on SQL, Excel VBA. Knowledge of C# .NET would be advantageous.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Quick learner with the ability to work independently


  • Bachelors / Masters degree 10+ years relevant experience
  • PRM/CFA/FRM or equivalent in related field.


  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communicator ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
