SAP BRIM Functional Consultant

The Senior SAP BRIM / Hybris Billing Consultant will provide expertise and knowledge in the areas of Hybris Billing and FICA for HP's Services business including current and upcoming strategic services . This position requires business knowledge, direct interaction with clients, hands on system configuration expertise of SAP BRIM/Hybris Billing, and may include team management for both onsite and offshore resources. He or she will guide clients through best-practice project scoping and delivery to ensure overall project success in implementing the BRIM solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicates strategic process decisions and plans, program status, and issues and workarounds in order to achieve alignment with the top level of the business, function, or region.
  • Leads internal or external programs with significant complexity and risk, provides feedback on programs, and conducts post-project evaluations.
  • Represents the needs of the business, function, or region on an ongoing basis to drive process improvements.
  • Collaborates with operational teams and business stakeholders to gather business requirements, supporting the design of new or improved processes of significant complexity, and understand business/customer impact.
  • Leads efforts to utilize standard project management and quality improvement methodologies in process improvement approaches. Identifies the need for new processes as well as significant improvements to major processes and drives their development and implementation.

Education and Experience Required:

  • SAP BRIM Consultants with Hybris Billing experience
  • 4-5+ Years with SAP BRIM and/or FICA experience
  • Minimum 4 years functional/technical proficiency with at least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations
  • Minimum 2 years of industry and/or consulting experience
  • Minimum 4 years of SAP experience implementing SAP BRIM/Hybris Billing; and/or FICA, and/or FSCM)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse group

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge and subject matter expertise for HP operational processes, industry trends, and customer/partner requirements.
  • Advanced understanding of core HP businesses and the revenue cycle.
  • Functional expertise in several BRIM process areas including Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI/FICA), or Subscription Order Management (SOM)
  • Specific knowledge of SAP Convergent Invoicing processes within the SAP BRIM solution including billable item management, billing and invoicing processes and integrations
  • SAP SD and FI-AR experience
  • Hands on, in-depth Order to Cash (OTC) experience on the SAP platform
  • Ability to follow SAP methodology -Activate including conducting gap analysis between business requirements and SAP solutions, analysing and preparing data migration plans, developing executing rigorous data and process testing plans
  • Superior communication skills (i.e. written, verbal, presentation), leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills. Mastery in English and local language as well as other languages as required.
  • Ability to lead complex process improvements using industry standard quality improvements tools and concepts, and has thorough understanding of change management processes and procedures.
  • Excellent program management, problem solving, and analytical skills, and the ability to execute a program within the scope of overall strategies.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
