As a Senior Developer, you will work with a team of talented developers and will have to be very knowledgeable in scalable web architectures, distributed systems and patterns for website development. You will be responsible for taking specific product features through entire life cycle, from requirement analysis to production roll out, meeting the reliability, performance and quality targets required in our company. What you ll be required to do Work independently and own multiple features of the product Design & implement features, required APIs, test suites or technology according to specifications Pay strict attention to quality of your code, to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards Perform research on various technologies useful for the project Complete assignments on time and with minimal defects Partake in regular development and brainstorming meetings 5+ years of software development experience Experience building and deploying web applications with Php Frameworks such as Symfony Good knowledge of SQL Server/ MySQL database queries, stored procedures etc. Able to develop for and deploy on Linux OS, configuration and administration skills are a plus (a big plus if used Amazon Web Services) Experience with Web Services and SOAs (REST, SOAP) Knowledge of modern search technologies such as Solr or Elastic Search Solid foundation in development process, best practices and design patterns Good knowledge of code- versioning tools and practices Strong knowledge of code- editors, debuggers, profilers and other tools for the technologies being used B.S. or M.S. degree (degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is a bonus) Effective communication with the local and remote team members You must be enthusiastic, creative and have the desire to innovate,
