The Market Developer is responsible for leading, planning and executing market development activities that measurably improve patient access and drive sustainable growth for Medtronic Emerging markets Products. In close collaboration with the marketing, education and the sales team the market developer will create and implement programs to help raise awareness and increase the adoption of the product portfolio. Working under the product manager, the market developer would be end to end owner of the various market development initiatives conducted in the East North East region

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify key barriers for therapy adoption in the surgical segment through market research in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop market segmentation models for the various stakeholder in the therapy adoption cycle.
  • Design appropriate market development programs based on the barriers and the target market segment in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Increase awareness and accelerate the adoption of the EMG products therapies through market development initiatives including workshops and seminars
  • Own the market development programs from inception to execution
  • Continually evaluate and timely adjust the efforts to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Develop, track and publish metrics for the successful completion of the varied initiatives

Must Have- Minimum Requirements

  • Science Grad MBA in Marketing or General Management
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in healthcare marketing, market/therapy development, Sales/ Business Development
  • Demonstrated ability to apply marketing experience to achieve business goals.
  • Expert level communication ability (oral written) and able to tailor to a variety of audiences including sales teams, executive leadership and HCPs
  • Ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with internal external stakeholders
  • Skilled in project management
  • Ability to work with limited supervision in a highly matrixed organization
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Nice to Have

  • Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology, familiarity with surgical products consumables.
  • Be a self-starter, have strong time management and planning skills, and have demonstrated success in working independently
  • Proven track record of success in planning and executing market growth strategies
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment while meeting deadlines
  • Experience working with key societies and physician leaders to develop and execute strategic initiatives
