Senior Manager - General Ledger (L5)

Job Location:  Chennai
Job Description:  SkillSet: finance, sales, ltd, mis, accountancy.
* Overall responsibility of monthly book closure, financial reporting to the group as per global calendar. Also responsible for specific quarterly yearly requirements like hedge transactions, stock based compensation entries and IFRS transitions etc. Preparation of management specific requirements on a monthly basis- Credit risk provisioning, Expected credit loss model, Hedge Preparation of annual financials statement as per IND AS and related statutory compliance as required by Companies Act Preparation of related IND AS adjustments to be incorporated in the financial statements Preparation of tax audit schedules relevant to accounting team Handling various Audits inter-alia Group audit, statutory audit and tax audit Review of general ledger balances with the objective to identify old items and report to managements if any risk Support in adhoc requirements such as workings for tax assessments, Management reports, etc. , * Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant Atleast 6 - 8 years of experience;
Experience must at Corporate level but not at a division level
Handled reporting responsibilities independently;
Worked in IFRS environment
Post qualification experience of atleast 1-2 years in Big 4 accounting firms ;
Knowledge of working in SAP environment ;
Working knowledge in Microsoft Power Point
Good communication skills ;
Confident:
Ability to think with a big picture
