We are the Windows Developer and Experiences Team. We own the UI frameworks that developers use to build apps for Windows. That includes WinUI , React Native for Windows + macOS and the Windows Presentation Framework (WPF) .

This role is for the WPF team . We recently shipped WPF on . NET5, and will continue to ship as part of .NET . In addition, we are working to complete our open-sourcing of WPF by build ing out our Test Infrastructure . This will enable our large developer community to start contributing to the framework alongside the WPF team . We are looking for a Senior PM to work on aligning .NET team s release with the Windows Developer and Experiences platform strategy.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Deliver end - to - end customer scenarios in partnership with the Engineering team and with .NET.
• Engagement with the end-developer community via GitHub.
• Ability to work effectively with a globally distributed team across different time zones.
• To succeed in this role, you should have strong technical and analytical skills, excellent cross-group collaboration, and a passion for customers. A track record of timely delivery, preferably in a product group.

Required:

• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
• 2+ years of industry experience developing in C#, Java, or C++.
• Experience in building and shipping software through an entire product cycle.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor s or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science or related field.

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience developing interacting on GitHub
• Hands-on coding experience in WPF
• Familiarity with industry standards for building Accessible software products.
