Master Data Manager Responsible for the site Master Data processes aimed to ensure accurate and timely creation and maintenance of the master data in the ERP System, in accordance with local and global requirements. The Material Planner drives the tactical purchasing process for all materials to ensure materials availability and execution plan feasibility in accordance with Site inventory policy.
Your responsibilities include but not limited to:
Master Data Manager: Ensures, defines and governs consistent master data throughout the whole master data life cycle and global business processes and defines the matrix of responsibilities within the MD process and the person that defines the parameter, the person who updates SAP with the right value, etc.
Ensures that local material master data integrity and quality is established by analyzing basic requirements, maintaining the attributes in the systems and assuring all data introduced in the system is reliable and comes from the accurate sources and challenges data consistency and completeness and verifies, accurate and completes requests for data maintenance aligning with Global Master Data processes and related SOPs.
Identifies areas for improvement regarding Global Material Master processes, tools and rules and supports improvement processes.
Responsible for specific Master Data Management processes (expertise, key account) to build, extend and share knowledge within self-directed working teams.
Train and support the assigned functional SPoCs and Subject Matter Experts on site and ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements (including record management) and continuous improvement of quality relevant processes within area of responsibility.
Ensure material availability in line with the approved production plan.
Ensure daily MRP oversight for all BOM material, analysis of requirements and Purchase Orders management.
Ensure management of daily MRP exception messages and appropriate follow up.
Own, in ERP System, MRP relevant data and materials technical specifications and ensure no Purchase Orders are past due in the ERP System.
Management of purchased item Complaints/Returns to supplier aso provide a load-balanced dispatch list for incoming materials to the warehouse and Quality department that ensures these activities are completed in line with the production needs.
Control and follow-up of supplier s service level indicators: Quality OTIF, lead-time violation.
Lead action plans to achieve supplier delivery performance targets and seek for continuous improvement.
Provide analytics solutions delivery and reporting support to Novartis internal customers, drive continuous improvements and elevate client experience.
Provide support for development and deployment of analytics solutions for internal partners and translate requirements into business deliverables
Develop, lead and optimize the data extraction, transformation and reporting process and transform data into measurable business insights
Design and deliver simplified user interfaces and user experience (UI/UX)
Develop interactive visualizations using state of the art tools (Novartis server compatible) to support users take data driven decisions
Develop and maintain data models, reports, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
Generate analytical insights using advanced modelling techniques and showcase findings to the customer
Develop and maintain machine learning models and solutions
Eliminate manual steps by developing (semi) automation scripts / workflows for improved efficiency and enhanced deliverable quality
Drive continuous improvement projects for process simplification and improved efficiency
Support work on cross-functional projects using analytics and modelling techniques
Follow agile scrum principles for handling products / solutions development and take ownership of improving client experience.
Minimum requirements Minimum Requirements:
Ideal Background:
Graduate / Post Graduate in operations management, Business management, Industrial engineering, Statistics
Certifications in supply chain and operations areas e.g. APICS (CSCP, CPIM), optional but good to have.
Experience in Supply chain analytics, operations analytics, inventory optimization, logistics network optimization, demand management, warehouse capacity planning etc.
SAP MM, SD modules end user experience
Business intelligence, reporting and KPI development
Excellent knowledge of data analytics, handling large and multiple datasets coming from multiple databases/sources
Hands on expertise on ETL and data wrangling tools like Alteryx, R, Python, SQL or similar.
Hands on expertise on developing dashboards, UI/UX in Qliksense, Tableau, R Shiny (or similar) publish and handling access on server platform
Hands on experience on developing simulations and real time KPIs monitoring dashboards
VBA Macro and MS-Access knowledge will be an added advantage
