The team of Novartis specialists within Insights Analytics are on a data and digital transformation journey, leveraging analytics to generate actionable insights for Novartis medicines impacting more than 500 million patients worldwide. The team is poised to enable easier, faster and reliable decisions for Novartis divisions across the globe.
Responsible to proactively partner with business on analytics and early databased and actionable insights to accelerate business growth. Provides thought leadership via deep dive analytics on current hot market topics. Champions analytics rigor through hypothesis generation and feedback loop. Merges diverse data sources with Predictive Analytics for next best actions business transforming analytics from a historical growth view to a forward looking predictive perspective leveraging new tools and integrated systems as well as diverse data source. Leverages market research expertise and take on innovative market research methodologies to influence business decision making.
Provides analytical expertise and thought leadership in understanding business performance, defining KPIs, forecasting, segmentation/targeting, strategic planning and leveraging internal and external data assets to make better datadriven decisions. Works closely with the business leaders to develop new techniques, explore innovative data assets and drive standardization across the analytics organization .Focuses on critical business questions, drives towards strategic and synthesized insights, and suggests ideas and actionable recommendations that enable better decisionmaking for the business . Simplify complex analyses and create clear and concise stories to motivate the organization to make better datadriven decisions, developing promotional campaigns, and business cases.

Challenge the status quo, explore new data assets, and experiment with innovative analytics to ensure business has a competitive advantage with robust account based analytics Evaluation of insights derived from robust analysis of multiple data sources both internal to and external .Maintain up to date knowledge and emerging trends of MarketResearch and Analytical methodologies Has deep understanding of the market place and drivers of business performance Maintain full compliance with internal and external guidelines, stay current on external and internal guidelines, develop training and approaches for Integrated Team (where needed) to understand and fully comply with compliance requirements Partner with relevant internal departments and make sure information is communicated across all the key stakeholders Partner with other Novartis teams and business leaders, departments (e.g., sourcing, Finance, Managed Markets); develop counseling and working relationships across departments Interface directly with analytics team to ensure that supported projects are delivered on time and to the appropriate quality for the franchise Work with finance BPAs to provide clear guidance on budget, latest outlook and monthly reporting processes Build insightful reports and presentations that highlight the actionable insights combined with business implications/strategic tactical options
Financial targets Performance measured against internal goals and external benchmarks Able to provide problem solving leadership to enable analytic based solutions to business questions and challenges in situations requiring new/innovative approaches.
Minimum requirements BA/BS degree in medicine, sciences, business administration health policy, health economic or other relevant qualification
Knowledge of the disease areas within the Pharma sector, with strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work with a cross-functional team in a matrix environment
Ability to communicate effectively and to have a persuasive and credible presentation style
Strong process/project management skills
Strong business acumen
Preferred: Strong solution-orientation
9+ years of relevant experience acquired at primary market research agencies or health care consultancy companies
