Quality in accordance with the set processes of the organization. Job Profile also requires the following:
Takes responsibility for the definition, documentation and execution of one or more projects/ products, actively participating in all phases of the project.
Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project.
Provides effective leadership to the project team (10/ 15 plus persons) ensuring that team members are motivated and developing their skills and experience. Actively represents the project team, ensuring that effective relationships are built and maintained with the business.
Prepares and maintains realistic project, quality, and risk plans, including plans incorporating sub- projects, and monitors and controls team performance against each plan, providing reports to client/ user management and senior management as required.
Effectively estimates costs, timescales and resource requirements and monitor the same for the successful delivery of the project (s) to an agreed scope.
Manages the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project (s) from project sponsors.
Ensures that own projects are closed out and where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured and auctioned. Produces appropriate documentation to support these processes. Desired Skills / Background
Has achieved proficiency in the role of Project Management for at least 3- 5 years.
Has gained experience of achieving results through effective team leadership and through the planning, control and formal review of IS projects.
Required skill/ role (s) : Project Manager, EAI Software (Enterprise Application Integration) , Microsoft BizTalk Solutions, Project Control, Project Estimating, , Project Scheduling, Meets Deadlines, Project Management Tools, Communication, Microsoft Project, Project Leadership, Analytical Skills.
Preferred skill/ role (s) : .NET (VB.NET, ASP.NET)
Preferred Certification (s) : Project Management Professional (PMP) , Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM) , Microsoft Certificated System Engineer 2000/ 2003 (MCSE) .
Preferably Managers having experience in Shipping Domain/ Industry.
