Financial Analyst 2

Job Location:  Bangalore
Job Description:  SkillSet: " financial results", reporting, " compatibility testing", " financial analysis", " financial justification".
*Financial support to business areas through financial analysis, budgeting, planning forecasting; to facilitate decision making and future business strategies.
As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical skills. Ability to prepare Excel spreadsheets of high complexity. 2 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting preferred. CPA/MBA desired., *

MBA (fresher), CA or CMA (Completed) with 5 to 7 years relevent expiriance FPA experience.

Additional Qualifications : Good communication, Manageing internal external stakeholders. Knowledge on Analytical tools, like, Oracle DV, Power BI, VB, EPM, Report automation.

Role Objective

To provide Finance Support to Business and finance through detailed research and analysis of standard reporting including detailed financial analysis. Drive budgeting forecasting process to facilitate decision making and support future business strategies.

Strong knowledge Oracle Products, LOBs and systems and good experiance on Analytical tools such as Oracle DV, PowerBI, EPM are added advantage.

The primary responsibilities of the role:

  • Provide deliverables / reports in a timely 100% accurate manner to stakeholders
  • Prepare forecast / budget based on Trend analysis.
  • Analyze complex Reporting and provide an executive summary
  • Gain advanced understanding of Business and Business processes
  • Support BP Finance Team with complex ad-hoc analysis
  • Present KPIs to management / stakeholders
  • Play Techno functional role and drive automation initiatives.
  • Monitor and Maintain Data Qulaity of all automated Reports
  • Work with Technical teams to fix the open issues on dashboard.
  • I dentify opportunities for process improvements and provide solutions to management (Eg: CoE Transition)

Additional Responsibilities

  • Plan for quarter-end year-end close workload (All KPIs and Reporting)
  • Perform scenario building to enable decision making
  • Participate in Departmental / Global Projects; Lead simple projects under regular reviews and guidance; Propose proactive course corrections
  • Review reports produced by team
  • Train junior members on Oracle systems/tools and hierarchies, support Boot-camp trainings, next level and other such forums
  • Conduct root cause analysis on key issues and provide solutions for the same
  • Ensure all the project mile stones are met by the team
