  • Role Description : (Product Configuration Engineer, Integration Engineer, Conversion Engineer, QA Analyst)
  • The Distribution Practice within US Insurance Advisory is looking for Dev and QA who will play a significant role in digital transformations for insurers by tailoring SaaS platforms to meet the client s needs through existing and newly developed product configurations. Working closely with, Engineering, Implementation, and Product teams you'll help define the product version that better serves the needs of the end-user.
  • In this position, you'll be responsible for:,
  • Assisting in planning, coordination and configuring software builds, releases for their promotion between test environments and into production environments
  • Supporting multiple teams including Engineering, Implementation, Quality Assurance, and Product Management in troubleshooting and execution of configuration deliverables
  • Collecting, analyzing, problem-solving and interpreting business requirements in order to translate them into configurable settings
  • Implementing clients requested product configurations and suggest innovative ways to address their needs
  • You have:
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment across global time zones
  • 3-5 years experience in PL/SQL for data retrieval, manipulation and updates, HTML and JAVA
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle a large workload, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of full software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with JIRA or Project Management software to track, manage and resolve assigned tasks/tickets within sprint cycles
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and communicate effectively
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering
  • Experience with version control software (Git/GitHub or similar enterprise platforms) preferred
  • Familiarity with API and ETL is a plus
  • Understand data modeling, data flows and data integrations at insurers
  • Strong insurance background and willingness to specialize in select lines (Life, Group, PC)
  • Experience with web-based platforms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with intermediate/advance knowledge of Excel
  • Familiarity with Agile team structures and task management
  • [Conversion Integration Engineers] Proficient in developing with Java, .NET, C# languages
  • [Conversion Integration Engineers] Proficient in working with with Informatica, SQL Server for data extraction analysis
  • [QA Analyst] Experience with HP ALM QA tool sets for defect management, test case execution
  • [QA Analyst] Proficient in ETL routines to manipulate data, execute test case scenarios
