QHSSE Global Data Specialist

Job Location:  United Kingdom (United Kingdom-United Kingdom)

Main Purpose of Job

  • The purpose of this role is to assist with the global Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment (QHSSE) data analysis and reporting processes.
  • This includes the input, analysis and collation of QHSSE data and associated reports, uploading of documents and data management of the Quality Management System (QMS) and providing support to the global QHSSE team where required.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work closely with the QHSSE Managers to ensure the proactive and secure management of QHSSE data, policies, processes and other documentation.
  • Preparation of monthly QHSSE KPI dashboard and other reports.
    Update Incident records and maintain QHSSE statistics
  • Updating of all relevant global policies and processes as requested including maintaining processes and policies, audits all relevant supporting data in the QMS.
  • Archiving of all expired QHSSE information.
  • Ensure to maintain and update QHSSE documents records on sharepoint
  • Point of contact for all queries regarding Group QHSSE policies and processes to share with the business, ensuring only up-to-date documentation is available on the QMS.
  • Support the development and implementation of a behavioral safety approach.
  • Support development and delivery of QHSSE training and initiatives.
  • Support data validation for all quality management and QHSSE for external and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to and review for trends to generate insight and aid decision making.
  • Provide the necessary support to the GM Global QHSSE, Regional QHSSE Managers and other stakeholders in the business.
  • Help coordinate the timely audits of vendors and partner-agents, logging of results and closing out of applicable actions.
  • Support follow up and track corrective actions and non-conformances (Internal audit and concerns )
  • Help to reduce or eliminate injuries and accidents with support for both local and global issues.
  • Liaise with Strategic Sourcing to support strategies to reduce environmental risk throughout the supply chain.
  • Help reduce or eliminate waste globally.
  • The post holder will carry out any other duties as are within the scope and purpose of the job as requested by the Line Manager and ensure full utilization of all Inchcape systems according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Essential

  • Previous experience in a QHSSE or business intelligence role or Data analyst role.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to combine them with business knowledge.
  • Continuous improvement mind-set.
    Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision.
  • Strong values and knowledge with regard to ethics and compliance.
  • Ability to communicate on all levels, influential skills; relationship builder to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Desirable

  • Experience in large, global service organization
  • Exposure to the maritime industry
  • Experience of vendor auditing and compliance
  • Knowledge of, ISO 9001, 14001 and ISO 45001
Education requirements

Essential

  • Degree or equivalent level
  • Knowledge of Advanced EXCEL, Powerpoint and Sharepoint

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Health, Safety, Environment related Course
