Position : Design Consultant

Location : Ahmedabad

Salary : upto 5 LPA

JOB DESCRIPTION -

The key purpose of the role of the Design Consultant is to gauge customer requirements accurately, suggest client-centric design solutions

Role Responsibilities

Design consultant will report to the Studio manager.

Responsible to manage walk-in customers & assist customers in making right product selections.

Responsible to manage end-to-end customized modular furniture projects which include:

- Acquiring floor plans from customers & Requirement gathering to create design brief

- Create designs and quotes using the 3D design software

- Liaison with modular merchants for costing

- Conduct meetings with customers to provide design consultation

- Payment collection and updating the system

- Supervise execution at site

- Managing customer escalations if any

Desired Skills and Competencies

Furniture design, 3D design, spatial design, interior design styling.

Knowledge of materials like engineered & natural wood, various finishing materials, hardware etc.

Knowledge of costing and creating BOQs

Software proficiency AutoCAD 2D/3D, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office (Word, Excel & Power Point)

Excellent communication and presentation skills
