Requirement: Oracle DBA

Experience: 5 - 7 years

Location: Hyderabad

Job Description:

• Installation/upgrade of Oracle software.
• Strong in trouble shooting GI, Database and performance tuning issues in RAC/Non-RAC.
• Thorough Knowledge in handling RAC databases.
• Strong Performance tuning experience with a good understanding of database statistics, Locks Blocking sessions, Explain plan analysis, AWR report analysis, Server resource monitoring etc.
• Experience on applying/maintaining GI and Database patches.
• Should be able to create, maintain Dataguard databases, troubleshoot and fix DG issues.
• Strong in handling all types of backups, refreshes and recovery procedures.
• Hands on with 12c and 18c databases.
• Should be able develop shell scripts and/or jobs to perform routine database administration tasks.
• Good understanding of database partitioning, Golden Gate implementation maintenance, database security architecture and maintenance.
• Oracle OEM experience is required.
• Experience with hands on daily Routine DBA operations tasks.
• Well acquaintance with different ORA errors and their resolution is required.
• Ready to work in any shift including late evening, night shift, weekend support on a rotating schedule.
• Should be able to handle other RDBMS databases like SQL SERVER
• Knowledge on different Cloud technologies will be preferred.
