AVP, Businss and Program Manager

Job Location:  Hyderabad
Job Description:  SkillSet: project management, agile, program management, project plans, problem solving.

Candidate Role Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management
    • Work with the senior management to drive strategy and key initiatives of GTS
    • Manage leadership communication to the staff, and information flow into and out of the division / region
    • Organize and coordinate discussions with Stakeholders (business users, upstream members, and any other supporting groups) and team members of the stream
    • Develop content for leadership consumption for various purposes - strategy, planning, reporting, etc
    • Lead and participate in business meetings, presentations, and conferences as and when required
  • Program management
    • Create, plan and manage initiatives, projects and activities for the GTS teams
    • Work at Program level and coordinate deliverables across multiple projects
    • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant MIS and project information to the stakeholders
    • Document and update project management processes, standards governance routines
  • Resource Management
    • Should manage, track and drive all the hiring activities and tasks for the group, This involves, tracking and maintaining the trackers, dashboards, prepare and distribute all related hiring reports and metrics
    • Should be able to work on tracking resource forecasting, billing and related metrics reporting
  • Cross team communications management
    • Create, curate content for executive presentations for business reviews, Team newsletter etc.
    • Design and develop dashboards to manage matrix team delivery spread across multiple locations or regions and distributed workforce (Employee and IT vendors)

Basic Qualifications competencies

  • B.Tech/MCA with MBA OR B.Com/BBA with MBA with 15 years of relevant industry experience
  • Must have very strong verbal, written communication skills, good team player with ability to work well in cross functional teams, ability to interact and work with senior management, good with tight strict deadlines and easily adjusts to shifting priorities
  • Must be able to do multitasking, attention to detail and turning around analysis under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point and Excel) with excellent presentation skills
  • Understanding of software engineering - SDLC, Agile, Waterfall
  • Ability to prepare and track project plans (software as well as general management projects)
  • Ability to understand software project and delivery risks, hiring risks and related analysis
  • Knowledge and experience on SharePoint design and administration is an advantage
  • Challenge taker and independent thinker
  • Self-starter with ability to work in multiple projects with varying priorities
  • Judgement and Problem solving - Thinks ahead, anticipates questions, plans for contingencies, finds alternative solutions and identifies clear objectives. Sees the big picture and effectively analyses complex issues
