Applications by email/ speed post are invited by Uttarakhand Rural Road Development Agency, Dehradun from retired engineers of State/ Central Govt. Departments, PSUs, Retired or Serving Faculty Members of Govt. Engineering Colleges/ IITs/ NITs/ Govt. Research Institutes as State Quality Monitors (SQMs). The candidate should be graduate in Civil Engineering from recognized University & should meet the criteria, which is available at website: http://urrda.uk.gov.in

No applicants would be allowed to apply who have attained the age of 67 years. The reporting is to be done through web & mobile based application, therefore the candidate should have working knowledge of computers & smart phones or be willing to learn the same within stipulated time.

The state Quality Monitors are required to inspect works related to construction of roads/ bridges in any district of Uttarakhand under PMGSY. During a single visit, works of different PIUs of any district may be required to be inspected. Travel expenses and other allowances of the SQM are reimbursed/ admissible as per the prevailing norms of the organization and entitlement of the last post served. In addition, honorarium of Rs 4500 + 300/ day is pad for each day of inspection.
