PRODUCT MANAGER
A Product Manager is the voice of customers in any organization. PM s primary role is to
understand business problems that are profitable to solve and are aligned with the
company s strategy and core-competencies. Also, PM has to translate these business
problems into product specifications for RD to work on and package the product for
adoption by end users, customers, and other stake holders such as product
communications, operations, professional services, sales and marketing.
We are looking for a Product Manager with excellent communication skills, who excels
at building strong partnerships with all the stakeholders and focuses on strategic as well
as tactical product management. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of
analytical abilities, negotiation skills, decision making skills and a very keen observant
and curious mind. Above all, the candidate must have a pragmatic approach.
Job Responsibilities:
Discover and understand business problems and prioritize them in the
roadmap
Create detailed specifications, acceptance use cases and other artifacts, and
work with RD to deliver them
Identify the user experience needs and work with UX designers to deliver an
engaging user experience
Maintain consistent engagement with end users, customers and other
stakeholders from RD, product communications, operations, professional
services, product marketing, sales and presales
Create and maintain product roadmap for rolling 4 quarters. Evangelize the
product roadmap with customers and other stake holders and gain their
acceptance.
Work with Product Communication to create/update Help guides, Release
Notes, Videos and Guided Tours to package the features for adoption
Study competition, analyst reports and other publicly available collateral to
help sales and marketing efforts and influence the strategic direction of the
product
Qualifications:
Technical Bachelor s degree is a must. MBA is preferred.
You have Overall experience 6+ years of experience
You have minimum experience of 2-4 years in B2B Product Management
Must have participated in scrum and should be familiar with agile
methodologies.
You have experience in managing product with engineering teams
SCM/Marketing Background will be an added advantage
